Unfortunately, it is not possible to recover a password for a file encrypted with FlashCrypt. Once the password is lost, the only way to access the file is by guessing the password or using a brute-force attack, which can be time-consuming and may not always be successful. It is always recommended to keep a backup of important passwords in a secure place.
I have installed folder lock "FlashCrypt" and protected my files. Now I want to restore them, but it fails to restore and it gives me a notice that "FlashCrypt failed to restore folder "F:/Newfolder". Storage error:Cannot perform their operation on read only storage". Please help me on how to restore these files.

Try closing other application that might work with the folder you want to restore. Additionally, run the application as Administrator. If you run it as a normal user, you will encounter messages like the one above. Shut down all the applications running in the background, then right-click FlashCrypt, choose Run as Administrator and try restoring your content again.
